The visit takes place in a space that is under the responsibility of the APPACDM (Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of the Mentally Handicapped Citizen) of Castelo Branco. This is a pedestrian circuit about 3 km long, accessible to people with reduced mobility. This route presents itself as a learning space, in an environment of privileged contact with nature. There is great diversity in fauna and flora, and it is also here, in the Sericiculture Center, that some eighty thousand silkworms produce more than 30kg of silk per year.
